If you are fitted with a removable bridge, it will clip to the side of your teeth next to the empty space from the missing tooth. If you are fitted with a fixed bridge, the false teeth will be cemented permanently over the missing teeth.

Dental Implants

A dental implant is the best option for tooth loss that most closely mimics the effects of natural teeth. An implant can be used to restore a single tooth or an entire set of teeth as well, making it a flexible solution. Dental implants can also attach to a bridge or denture when there is more than one tooth missing.

Dentures

Full dentures may be required if most or all of your natural teeth have been lost. These can be held in place by implants, or attached to the gums with adhesives.
