Godley Station Dental Update Regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Based on recommendations from the ADA(American Dental Association) and CDC we are continuously modifying the way our practice operates. We recommend that all of our patients check the CDC website for information on the Coronavirus and what we can do to slow the spread.
Temporary changes to our schedule: Limited service and hours 8am-4pm
Beginning March 23rd our office will be open from 8am until 4pm. We will be postponing regular routine cleaning appointments for 2 weeks and plan to resume regular operations in our hygiene department on April 1st barring any changes in directives from organized healthcare. We will have two doctors available during these new hours to serve our patient base with any emergency needs or urgent matters they need addressed. We are asking patients to wait in their vehicles until called in and have implemented treatment room distancing and enhanced screening procedures for our team and our patients in an effort to create the most safe environment for all individuals.
Who are we seeing in the office?
Our team is committed to the service of our patients and the community. To that end, we will be seeing any patient that has an urgent matter they need addressed and servicing patients with treatment needs they desire to have accomplished in an effort to avoid an emergency situation in the near future. This is in compliance with the recommendation of the ADA(American Dental Association) and GDA(Georgia Dental Association) in an effort to keep dental patients out of area hospitals for emergent care during the current healthcare crisis. Patients who have scheduled treatment should call our office to discuss their comfort in having treatment rendered. We are requiring that all patients with scheduled appointments respect a 24hr cancellation policy so that we can have the appropriate number of clinical team members available.
It is our strong desire to meet the needs of our patients and we believe that now is a time, more than ever, when we should all be focusing on serving our fellow man. If you have any special needs, please contact our office and we will make every effort to meet your needs. We are currently setting up a system of “teledentistry” so that you could speak with our clinical team outside the office if the need should arise.
Please check in with us often as updates will be added as needed. Our main objective is to serve the Pooler, Savannah and surrounding communities the best we can. We are all in this together. We are keeping our patients, whom we consider family, in our thoughts and prayers as we navigate this together.
