
Pooler, Ga., Dec. 3, 2024—Dr. Joseph E. Brown, III has joined Godley Station Dental as an associate dentist.
A native of Florence, S.C, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine, Charleston. He also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the College of Charleston. Dr. Brown brings 16 years of dentistry experience to the practice, having also served as a lieutenant commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve for seven years. He has special training in Invisalign treatment, short-term orthodontics, Botox and dermal fillers.
Dr. Brown had the honor of serving as past President of the South Carolina Coastal District Dental Association, and as President of the Medical University of South Carolina Alumni Association. He is a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an international honorary dental service organization whose fellowship is by invitation only. He is also a diplomate at the Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorders Disciplines.
Dr. Brown volunteers as a youth athletics coach for soccer, futsal, baseball and basketball, and serves as Treasurer of the Board for the Jenkins Athletic Club. He has two children, Jeb, 11, and Lawson, 9. Dr. Brown resides in Hardeeville, S.C.
